—Dave McBroom, Grieve Well to Live Well: Finding Hope, Healing, and Purpose Beyond Loss
–Jenayssi N. Padgett, Penny's Magical Mind
Capri Prentice, Only He Can Change Your Story: When the World Calls You a Victim, God Calls You Victorious
Yvonne Butler (editor), Ascending Caleb's Mountain
New Releases:
The Book of Job is no fairy tale. It is as real as life and death. It is about the suffering of a righteous man known by all in his day as one who was revered by the Almighty God. Of all men, why did Job have to suffer?
Understanding Job's experience helps us understand our own suffering and, above all, the suffering of Jesus. As readers study, understand, and incorporate the message of the Book of Job into their own lives, they will Remember the Battle as God revealed it to Job. Within that message lies the key to victory over sin, suffering, and death.
I was so pleased to get to edit and design the interior and cover of Rosemary Hyslop's 5th (yes, 5th!) book, Remember the Battle: The Message of Job

The purpose of New Testament prophetic ministry is to build up the church (Ephesians 4:11–13). However,  inexperience and character defects can prevent prophets from fulfilling the call of God on their life and dim the light of their prophetic ministry. Aaron Blais has a deep conviction that prophets must be trained in the foundational principles of authentic prophetic ministry.

Supernatural: A Practical Guide to Prophetic Ministry in the Local Church provides biblical guidance and practical insight to equip prophets to grow in character and develop their gifting so that they can be a blessing to their local church community.
"Love is more important than knowledge, character is more important than gifting, and humble service to the local church is the goal of all true prophetic ministry."
It was an honor to work again with Aaron on editing, formatting, and the cover on his third book.

Nature meets art therapy in Rooted in Love: A Testimony of God's Faithfulness. Elizabeth Wilson uses her illustrations of trees to launch discussions of faith, with a focus on healing and redemption through understanding the love of Jesus. This is a great read for anyone looking to grow their faith and pursue spiritual wellness. Learn about trees as you embark on a journey to the joy of knowing God loves you.
It was lovely to get to work with Beth again on the interior formatting of this gorgeous new book, which includes 100 beautiful illustrations. Be sure to also see her previously published novel, Their Maker's Hands, which I also had the pleasure of formatting for print.

Bruce Littlejohn's memoir, Around the World and Back to God: How One Man Found Faith Across the Ocean, is published by his family. It's a wonderful collection of memories of his time growing up in Canada, traveling the world, meeting his wife, Kerstin, raising his family, and using his talents as a mechanic to bless and train others in life skills and faith. Later in his life, Littlejohn would welcome international students and help them feel at home abroad. The story is a heartwarming, cross-cultural, inspirational glimpse into a life well-lived that leaves readers wanting to make sure they, too, are leaving a legacy of love and worth.
I was honored to work with the Littlejohn family committee on editing, interior design, and the cover for this memoir.

"I woke up in a panicked sweat again. How many nights had this been happening? Too many to count! It seemed as if my heart beat a thousand miles an hour, and dreadful feelings enveloped me—feelings of being afraid and lost. The questions, the whys? bombarded me. I didn’t have answers, and that terrified me. …
“'I’m a widow. I’m a widow.' That word, that fact, blew my mind. I could not wrap my head around it. Thirty-four years with the love of my life, and he was gone."
Part memoir, part inspirational teaching of the transition from loss to renewed hope and life, Lucie Costa Spencer's Surrendered Grief: Finding Inexplainable Peace in Loss provides readers with the author's powerful reflections, practical encounters with God, and examples of the daily mercies He provided her. This book helps readers move from unbearable sorrow to the healing embrace of God's peace.
It was a true pleasure to get to work with Lucie again on editing and the interior design of her book. Be sure to see her previous book, Empowered to Live.

Grieving with God is a heartfelt journey through loss, healing, and the unwavering presence of God throughout. After the death of his wife of 32 years, Dr. Micheal Spencer discovered the profound ways God restores—through His Word, the renewing of the mind, and the newfound courage to move forward. With wisdom, encouragement, and biblical truth, Dr. Spencer reminds the reader that grief does not have to overtake them. Hope, comfort and renewed purpose are found in Jesus Christ alone.
It was a pleasure to work with Micheal on copyediting and interior formatting of his book. I'm grateful to Lucie Costa Spencer for introducing us.
