Every print book and every eBook must have a cover. If you want a simple cover with a single image you provide or I help find, I can work with you on the design and deliver the cover file you need for a hardback, paperback, or eBook. It's essential to match the cover's feel to the book's content and grab the potential reader's eye. When we like a book cover, we usually flip it over and read the back cover description. If that's intriguing, we might open the book, glance at the table of contents, and flip through the interior. We will likely buy the book if our interest is piqued through that many steps.
Simple cover creation generally starts at $350.00. I use Adobe InDesign and provide you with a PDF ready to upload to the printer of your choice or a .jpg file for your eBook.

A few covers I've collaborated on and helped authors create in varying genres, including children's, novel, memoir, religious nonfiction, and poetry:
Book One of the Rupert's Adventures Series: I've also created the covers for books 2–5, on which I kept the same theme but adapted it for new artwork in each story.
Novel cover incorporating the author's favorite color and a simple stock photograph that caught the essence of the main character:
For the 2nd edition of Christianity: Where's the Evidence, Eric Hiller kept the artwork from his 1st edition, but I was able to update his fonts and wrap the image to include the back and spine:
For the memoir, Guidance, Goofs and Grace, I took the author's early thoughts and adjusted the preferred colors and fonts to achieve the striking, bold, graphic look he wanted:
Author Aaron Blais provided the artwork for his covers and we worked together to create his preferred look on a simple white background with striking fonts that reflect the topics:
Four of Rosemary Hyslop's books: simple, single-image covers, yet effective in their genres.
